Men's shoe sizes differ significantly between countries. US sizes run approximately 33 numbers below the EU equivalent (US 10 = EU 44), UK sizes run roughly 0.5 below US (US 10 = UK 9.5), and Korean sizes measure foot length directly in millimetres (US 10 = KR 280). Women's Sneaker Size Converter
Women's shoe sizes are approximately 1.5 sizes higher than men's for the same foot length — a women's US 8 equals a men's US 6.5 and both fit a foot of roughly 25cm. Women's EU and CM equivalents are also distinct from the men's chart, so always use the women's converter when shopping women's styles. Select your system and size below.

Kids' Shoe Size Converter
Children's shoe sizes are split into three ranges: Toddler (2T–10T, roughly ages 1–3), Little Kid (10.5C–3Y, ages 3–6) and Big Kid (3.5Y–7Y, ages 6–12). Big Kid sizes overlap with adult women's sizing from about 5Y onward — a US 5Y is roughly a women's US 6.5. Choose your age category, then select your size system for instant conversions.
⚠ Kids' feet grow fast — measure regularly and always allow a little extra room. Check the brand's own chart before buying.
Sneaker Brand Size Guide
Sneaker brands vary significantly in how they fit relative to standard sizing. Converse runs 1 to 1.5 sizes large. Adidas runs about half a size small on popular models like the Ultraboost and NMD. Nike and New Balance are generally true to size. The table below shows how each major brand fits, which specific models are affected and exactly how much to adjust.
| Brand | Fit | Adjustment | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nike | True to Size | None needed | Generally TTS across most styles. Air Force 1 fits slightly roomy. React and Pegasus running shoes can run narrow — wide-footer types should consider half a size up. |
| Adidas | Runs Small | Go ½ size up | Ultraboost and NMD run about half a size small. Stan Smith and Gazelle are TTS but fit narrow — if you have wider feet, go half a size up. Yeezy sizing varies by model. |
| New Balance | True to Size | None needed | TTS with excellent width options (B through 4E). Known for a comfortable, slightly roomier toe box than Nike. 990, 574 and 550 are all reliably TTS. |
| Jordan | True to Size | None needed | Most Jordan models are TTS. Air Jordan 1 fits wide and roomy — narrow-foot types can size down half. Jordan 11 runs a touch large; some people prefer half a size down. |
| Vans | Runs Large | Go ½ size down | Old Skool and Sk8-Hi run slightly long — go half a size down if between sizes. Canvas styles stretch a little with wear. Slip-ons tend to feel roomy, so size down more confidently. |
| Converse | Runs Very Large | Go 1–1.5 sizes down | Chuck Taylors are famous for running big. Men should go 1 to 1.5 sizes down. Women should go down 2 full sizes (they use unisex sizing). The roomy toe box gets roomier as the canvas breaks in. |
| Puma | True to Size | None needed | Suede Classic and RS models are reliably TTS. Puma fits slightly narrow across most styles — wider feet may prefer to go half a size up for comfort on longer wear days. |
| Reebok | True to Size | None needed | Classic Leather and Club C are TTS. Reebok generally fits well across widths. Instapump Fury runs slightly narrow. Classics tend to have a slightly roomier toe box than running styles. |

How Sneaker Sizing Systems Work
Different countries developed their own shoe sizing standards independently. Here's what each system is based on and how they relate to each other.
US Sizing
US shoe sizes are based on the barleycorn system, where each full size represents one-third of an inch (approximately 8.47mm) of foot length. Men's and women's US sizes use the same scale but start at different foot lengths — a women's US 8 and a men's US 6.5 both fit the same 24.5cm foot.
EU Sizing
EU shoe sizes (also called European sizes) are based on the Paris Point system, where one size equals two-thirds of a centimetre (6.67mm). EU 44 corresponds to a foot length of approximately 28cm. EU sizes do not distinguish between men's and women's — the same EU number applies to both, and the gender difference only appears when converting to US or UK.
UK Sizing
UK shoe sizes use the same barleycorn system as US sizing but start from a different baseline. UK men's sizes run roughly 0.5 below US — a UK 9.5 is a US 10. For women, UK sizes run approximately 2 sizes below the US equivalent, so a women's US 8 is a UK 6.
Korean Sizing
Korean shoe sizing (KR) measures foot length directly in millimetres. A KR 280 means the foot is exactly 280mm (28cm) long — equivalent to a US men's 10 or EU 44. There is no conversion formula: the number is simply your foot length in millimetres. Korean sizing is the standard system across South Korean sneaker retail, including platforms like Kream.
CM Sizing
CM sizing measures foot length in centimetres and is widely used in Japan and across East Asia. A CM size of 28.0 is a US men's 10. It is essentially Korean sizing divided by 10, and is common on Japanese streetwear and sneaker retail sites. Some brands, particularly Japanese ones, list CM as the primary sizing on their products.
True to Size (TTS)
True to size means a shoe fits as expected for its labelled size — no adjustment up or down is needed. A US 10 in a true-to-size shoe will fit the same as a US 10 in any other true-to-size brand. Brands that run large or small require you to adjust. Nike, New Balance, Jordan and Reebok are generally considered true to size across most mainstream models.
